Come learn with me

I have been working as an in-company English trainer in Germany for nearly 10 years. In this time I have developed my skills in teaching business English, general English, as well as English for specific purposes to clients in and around Bremen and Hamburg. My experience, competence, friendly character and above all, flexibility are the main qualities that I bring to my work. Flexibility is very important to me, not only from an organisational point of view, but also in terms of lesson content. I tend not to base my lessons around learning from books, more I try to tailor lessons to the needs of the students, so that they are always relevant to their work or other requirements. 

My educational background (BA hons Modern Languages) has enabled me to develop a further understanding of how it is to learn a language and this has greatly enhanced my ability to teach, in particular to German students. I am also currently studying for an MBA and I am sure this will greater improve my understanding of business, which I can pass on to my students in my lessons.

Learning doesn't have to take place in the class room. Over the past years, I have organised trips with my students to London, where we spent the time exploring the city, speaking lots of English along the way.
